Gerald "Jerry" Mason, died on November 30, 2024 at the age of 82.
His favorite word was FANTASTIC and he liked fast cars and slow women. Jerry graduated from East High Vocational Auto Mechanics in 1960. He graduated from WU/WSU in 1970, taking night classes while working full time to pay for college. Jerry spent over 50 years in the Oil and Gas industry, still working for Duke Drilling Company. He enjoyed playing golf with friends and family, especially with his son Brad and granddaughter Shea on Saturday mornings.
Jerry is survived by his wife of 37 years, Linda; son, Bradley (Carie) Mason; daughter, April (Aaron) Nettleton; grandchildren, Alex (Jake), Altin, Gareth, Sophie (Evan), Shea, Kadance, and Shi; great-grandchildren, Arabella, Beau, Stormi, and Paxtyn; brother, Stan (Linda) Mason; son-in-law, Mike Gardipee; brothers-in-law, John Andrews and Wendell Wakefield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Anne Mason; sister, Joylene; nephews, Craig and Cliff; granddaughter (daughter), Crystal Crahan; step-daughter, Lori Gardipee; granddaughter, Sadie Mason; and sisters-in-law, Kay Ann Andrews and Etsuko Wakefield.
Visitation: Tuesday, December 3, 2024, from 4 to 7 pm at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210. Funeral: 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at Crossroads Baptist Church, 11441 E. Central Ave., Wichita, KS 67206. Interment to follow at Reflection Pointe Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroads Baptist Church, Shriners Plane of Mercy, and Beauties & Beasts.
