John Alexander Ellison

John Alexander Ellison, 90, passed away on July 4, 2023.  He was born March 11, 1933, in Lima Ohio to Howard & Esther Ellison.

In 1934, John's family moved to Ontario, Canada and John returned to the states (New York) in 1984 where he worked on Wall Street as a stockbroker and bond trader.  He was a man of great curiosity and passions.   Among them were his horse Start, gourmet cooking and competitive sailing. John also enjoyed cycling, tennis, and skiing.  He was also a very competent artist with an interest in the native tribal chiefs of the U.S. and Canada.  In his later years, John learned to play the guitar. 

He is survived by Lynn, his loving wife of 38 years; brother, Henry (Cheryl) of Brisbane, Australia; sister, Becky Giglia of Burlington, Ontario; and brother, David of Hamilton, Ontario.  He will also be missed by stepson, Jonathan (Carole) Klein of Tinton Falls, NJ.

As per John's wishes cremation has taken place.
