Khamphone Lang, 74, passed away Thursday, April 1, 2021. She was born October 2, 1946 to Sone and Thongmy Phimphasone in Savannakhet, Laos.
Khamphone cherished the time she got to spend with her family and friends. She enjoyed spending time at the Wichita Lao Buddhist Associates Temple. Until recently, Khamphone loved gardening, fishing, and cooking for her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, Key Phimphasone and Keo Oudone Phimphasone.
Khamphone is survived by her husband of nearly 55 years, Kou Lang; children, Chantha (Khamla) Samounty, Souphaphone Lang, Douangmala (Lindsey) Lang, Linda (Michael) Lang Castile; grandchildren, Tyler Sysoumphone, Hunter Sysoumphone, Jasmine Samounty, Lillee Samounty, Timothy Henriques, Gabrielle Henriques, Isaiah Henriques, Mattie Lang, and Thomas Lang; siblings, Bounsouan (Vilayphone) Phimphasone, Seley (Tick) Sonethongphixid, Bounyouk (Sawatdy) Xayaphet, and Boualamphanh Nanthavong; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Monday, April 5, 2021 and Tuesday, April 6, 2021, from 3 to 5 pm. Traditional Buddhist Service: 1 pm, Wednesday, April 7, 2021, all at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.
