LeeRoy Wheeler

LeeRoy Wheeler, 87, loving father and grandfather, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023.  He was born May 16, 1936 to Hiram and Alie (Loftis) Wheeler in Dover, OK.  

LeeRoy worked at Beech for 42 years.  He enjoyed fishing and was an avid Oklahoma University fan.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Corene Wheeler; daughter, Debra Smith; siblings, Earl Wheeler, Richard Wheeler, and Judy Hatch.  LeeRoy is survived by his children, Cynthia (Les) Giesy and Terry (Kathy) Wheeler; siblings, Eldon Wheeler, Billy Wheeler, and Shirley Grube; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation: Thursday, June 15, 2023, from 4 to 7 pm.  Funeral: 1 pm, Friday, June 16, 2023, both at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.  Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
