Mack Robinson, 90, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022. He was born February 15, 1931 to Mack and Eva (Rumford) Robinson in Emporia, KS.
Mack loved to cook food from around the world and would have wonderful parties to feed family and friends. He also was a talented silver smith that made beautiful jewelry for his family. His love of traveling was fueled by 26 years in the Air force and 24 years civil service where he got to see the orient and Middle East. Mack earned many degrees including associates, bachelor's and masters.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Juanita Hopkins, Louise Dickson, Patricia Forrester, and Deanna Robinson; grandson, Eric Robinson. Mack is survived by his wife of 70 years, Jean Robinson; sister, Mary Ruth Jaggard; children, Michael (Becky) Robinson, Megan Robinson, and Melissa (Hervey) Carraway; grandchildren, Jennifer Candelaria, Tiffany (Adam) Gooding, Bridgett Schmitz, Abi (Kris) Hamilton, and Hervey Carraway IV; great-grandchildren, Trey Coykendall, Daniela Llamas, Myles Montgomery, Mya Montgomery, Cade Gooding, Anden Mac Gooding, Kristian Hamilton, Talon Gooding, Breece Hamilton, Steel Gooding, and Savanah Hamilton; a large extended family; and many friends.
Memorial Service: 3 pm, Monday, February 21, 2022 at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306 or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
