Mark S. MacWilliams, 69, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Sunday, November 8, 2020. He was born September 7, 1951 to Francis and Jeane (Smith) MacWilliams in Olean, New York.
Mark retired from the Air Force in 1991. He loved fishing. Mark was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan. He cherished the trips he took with his siblings to the outer banks of North Carolina. Mark was a man of modest means and was profoundly generous with his family - all that he had, he gave. He shared a long running, competitive relationship with his nephews around the Phase 10 game. He loved visiting his siblings, but refused to do it in the cold. Throughout his journey of life, Mark certainly did it his way.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Mark is survived by his children, Shane (Wendy) MacWilliams and Shara Cynova; grandchildren, Britton, Averie, Kinley, Stephanie, Heather, Caitlin, and Elijah; siblings, Sandra Cermak, Michael MacWilliams, Mitchell MacWilliams; and several nieces and nephews.
