Maxine Allison (Cook), 79, passed away on June 16, 2024 just three days shy of her 80th birthday in Wichita, Kansas. She was born in Marshfield, Missouri to John and Rebecca Cook.
She dedicated nearly four decades of her life to the procurement and distribution supply department at St. Joseph Hospital, where her diligence and commitment were deeply valued.

She was known for her giving nature and unwavering dedication to her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great, grandchildren, and to all who called her friend.
While raising three children as a single mom there were hard times but she always made sacrifices to put them first. It was her main concern. She was always there for them, going to school programs, ball games, band and choir concerts, you name it, she was there if there was any way possible.
Maxine was honest and thoughtful and will be remembered for the love that she had for her family.
Before passing she had the best rally afternoon ever surrounded by her family, she was so happy. She will be missed terribly.
