Rex D McCulley, 74, proud father, grandfather, brother, and uncle passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022. He was born May 28, 1948 to Charles and Virginia (Furnas) McCulley in Independence, KS.
Rex served in the United State Air Force for four years as a Radar Technician. He worked at Beechcraft as a Crew Chief Manager for 41 years. Rex enjoyed spending time with his family, playing shuffleboard with his good buddies at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Wichita chapter, the occasional trips to Las Vegas, and cheering on his favorite basketball and football teams.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Darrell Dunham; and best friend Mike Tilley.
Rex is survived by his daughters, Emily (Benjamin Moser) McCulley and Barbara (Huy) Thach; grandchildren, Owen Thach, Finnegan Thach, and Evelyn Thach; siblings, Sandra Dunham, Charles (Sally) McCulley, and Charlotte (Roger) Rowe; and several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephew.
Memorial Graveside Service: 10 am, Friday, September 16, 2022 at Kansas Veterans' Cemetery, 1208 N. College St., Winfield, KS 67156.
