80, passed away Thursday, January 11th, 2024.  He was born March 31st, 1943 to Robert Louis Westwood and Norma Rose Westwood in Saginaw, Michigan.  

Robert retired from the United States Air Force in 1981 and Boeing in 2005.  He then went on to work for Ron Greiving at Haysville Rental Center to keep himself busy.  Bob loved his community in Rose Hill, Kansas and served as the interim mayor for a short period of time, the city council and planning commission.  He also served on the USD 394 School Board from July 2015 to December 2019.  His hobbies included skeet shooting and woodworking.  Robert’s first love was first and foremost, always his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Louis Westwood, Norma Rose Westwood; daughter, Rebecca Ann Kimbell; brother, Brent Westwood; sister, Carol Hopkins

Robert is survived by his wife, Emma Westwood; daughter, Tammy Sinclair; brother, James Westwood (Teresa); grandchildren, Austin Sinclair, Dylan Sinclair (Addison), Owen Kimbell, Bailey Kimbell, Nathan Kimbell; nephews; Casey Westwood (Lauren), David Lail; nieces, Hannah Westwood, Lori Roll (Terry), Leigh Westwood.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project or St Jude Children's Research Hospital
