Ronald C. Absetz

Ronald Carl Absetz, 79, passed away October 2, 2018.  He was born January 15, 1939 to Martin and Astrid (Johnson) Absetz in Denver, CO. Ron served 21 years in the US Navy, two of which was served on the USS Holder, and retired in 1979. He retired as a Vice President from Bank IV in 1998 and later worked for Emprise Bank for 9 years. Ron was an avid Redskin fan and collected Disney's "Goofy" characters. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ronald Carl II, and his brother, Ralph Absetz. Ron is survived by the love of his life of 56 years, Brenda (Ramage) Absetz, formerly of Campbell, MO; sons, Howard of Colorado Springs, CO and Michael Absetz of Wichita, KS; sister, Jarrand Stephens of Highland's Ranch, CO; sister-in-law, JoAnn Absetz of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Nicholas Absetz, Brianna Newell, Emmilynn Paul, Andrea Barnett, Mikel Taylor; and 9 great-grandchildren. Visitation: Friday, October 5, 2018, from 5:30 to 8:00.  Funeral: 11:00 am, Saturday, October 6, 2018, both at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S.
