Ronald Jessie Sluder

Wichita, Kansas

Ronald Jessie Sluder was born July 16, 1956 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, the son of Leroy and Rose (Ramirez) Sluder. He passed from this life on October 30, 2024, in Wichita, at the age of 68.

Ron served with the United States Air Force, retiring as a MSGT, then worked as an HVAC specialist.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Trinie Odle and Helyn Crain.

He is survived by his wife Young Hwa (Chon) Sluder, his son Benjamin Sluder, two brothers Danny Padilla and Tommy Cook, and three sisters Marcella Rose, Theresa Padilla, and Linda Cook.

Visitation 9-11am Tuesday, November 12, with funeral services 11am, all at Reflection Pointe Chapel in Wichita. Military honors by the United States Air Force Honor Guard will be held at 1pm at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Winfield.

A memorial has been established with the American Diabetes Association P.O Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
