Saga Y. Cushman

Saga Y. Cushman, 89, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2024. She was born December 30, 1934 in Tokunoshima, Japan. 

Saga was a very active woman that enjoyed bowling, sewing, cooking, and especially tending to her garden. She will be remembered for her caring nature and generosity in taking her friends out to dinner. Saga was very proud of her Japanese heritage and American citizenship. She spent her career in the Wichita aircraft industry. Saga was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and sports enthusiast.

She was preceded in death by her Japanese family who she treasured. Saga is survived by her very close dear friends. 

Visitation: Monday, September 9, 2024, from 4 to 7 pm at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210. A private graveside service will follow at Reflection Pointe Cemetery.
