Sâm V?n Nguy?n

Nguyễn Văn Sâm, 74, passed away Monday, March 29, 2021. He was born November 15, 1946 to Hoanh Nguyen and Hoa Tri in Ben Tre, Vietnam.

He served in the Vietnamese Navy during the Vietnam War. Sam spent most of his life working for IBP in Emporia and then moved to Wichita and retired from Dold Food in Wichita. He was a very loving person and cared for his family deeply. Sam enjoyed playing billiards and singing karaoke with his friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents. Sam is survived by his wife, Suong Dang; children, Soi Nguyen, Thuy Nguyen, Huong Nguyen, Amy Nguyen, Richard Nguyen, Loan Nguyen, Nikki Nguyen, Thao Nguyen, and Hai Nguyen; and numerous grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10 am, Thursday, April 1, 2021 at All Saints Catholic Church, 3205 E. Grand St., Wichita, KS 67218.  Visitation: Friday, April 2, 2021, from 10 am to 8 pm and Saturday, April 3, 2021 from 10 am to 2:30 pm at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210.
