Shawn D. Salas

Shawn D. Salas, 40, loving father, passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2022. He was born March 11, 1981 to David and Tenna (Stokes) Salas in Wichita, KS.

Shawn enjoyed fishing, singing, spending time with family, and morning prayers with his fiancé. He was known for his practical jokes and charismatic demeanor. Shawn was a big guy with a heart to match.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Betty Salas, Consuelo and Ralph Stokes. Shawn is survived by his parents; children, Immanuel, Olivia Salas, Quiana Pattinson, Grace Pattinson, Kahli Pattinson, and Sophia Pattinson; fiancé, Katherine Pattinson; sisters, Stephanie (Reese) Moore and Tiffany Salas; grandfather, Rudy Salas; nieces and nephews, Katalynn Lopez, Brandy Hernandez, Ricardo Salas, Dominic Guebara, Isaac Linares, Isaiah Linares, Jamire Moore, Jordan Moore, and Saniah Moore; and great-nieces, Laylannii, Anahi, and Bella Hernandez.

Visitation: Wednesday, January 19, 2022, from 3 to 8 pm with family present between 5 & 7 pm. Funeral: 10 am, Thursday, January 20, 2022, both at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210. Interment to follow at Reflection Pointe Cemetery.
