Stephanie Lou Rubosky

Wichita, Kansas

Stephanie Rubosky, 66, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024. She was born April 10, 1958 in McKeesport, PA to Michael Rubosky and Claire Margarita Gonzales, but was raised my Michael and Katherine Rubosky.

She graduated from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with her Bachelors of Arts and from George Mason University with her Masters of Arts. She was passionate about helping people and through her many years as a therapist, changed many lives for the better. She cared deeply for animals, the people in her life, as well as complete strangers. No animal or person ever was hungry if she was around. She was passionate about politics and deeply committed to seeking and sharing the truth. She held a strong sense of justice and a desire to understand the complexities of political issues. Motivated by a belief that knowledge and truth can lead to positive change. Her spirit was truly unyielding and strong. She exuded a powerful intensity that demanded respect; she was a “force of nature” and she was incredible. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Rubosky; sister, Vida George; and nephew, Dak Calkins. Stephanie is survived by her daughter, Brighton (Bryan) Cavalliere; siblings, Lisa Calkins-Wright, Irene Rubosky, Alexis Rubosky-Conners, Elizabeth Hughes-Rubosky , Bonnie Grace-morris, Mike Rubosky, John Eastman, and Charles Rubosky; as well as many nieces and nephews who were very dear to her. 

Memorial Service: 1 pm, Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Reflection Pointe Funeral & Cremation Services, 3201 S. Webb Rd., Wichita, KS 67210. To honor her we ask if you support Trump to please wear your best Trump attire; if you do not support Trump we would still love to see you in your best casual or patriot attire. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside St., Wichita, KS 67219 or any mental health organization of your choice.
